Today people's heads turn to see
features, eyes, nose, and hair
on impulse, they declare
Hey, what a beautiful girl !
She hears and struts proudly forth,
in the process she skips the thought
that she has it all today,
but with the opium of time
none of it will stay
all those will turn their backs,
who today want so much to flirt and play..
Ageing enhances wine;
but redicules with wrinkles,
a face that once was sublime
So women beware;
the looks that you today wear,
will remain constant only in photographs.
which with your grand-children you might share....
Let not the adulation grow on you,
modestly accept it as a gimmick of time.
concentrate on permanency,
which can only promise place
in beauty of the mind !!!
